As I told you in my last post which seems like 14 years ago, I have a lot of internet laundry and stuff to catch up on when I get on the internet. Therefore, every time I'm on the computer I tell myself I don't have time to blog because I have more important things to do. I haven't even been on the computer much lately because we've been so crazy busy. We hosted two Christmas parties this past weekend, which was a blast, but I was moving at superwoman speed to get everything ready for them. It's been a whirlwind for sure.
But I'm back to the blog world today. Due to my favorite person.
My husband is the most wonderful man.
Today he is in Florida climbing and inspecting a water tank. It's a 20 hour work day that involves a lot of travel and stress. He had to leave at 4something this morning so I definitely didn't wake up the same time as him today, although he did wake me up to kiss me goodbye. I'm so proud of him for how hard he works and provides for us. I don't know how I got so blessed to be married to him.
Today when I woke up, I went into the bathroom and there were three notes taped on the mirror. One to open when I woke up, and then one to open after I did my devotions and ate breakfast. The second one was encouraging me to do some things that I wasn't looking forward to and to let me know he was praying for me and that the Lord is with me all the time. That helped me so ridiculously much. It said that after I got the unpleasant things done, to open the third note which was going to be a fun note.
The third note had money in it and told me to go to my favorite coffee shop. No, I don't like coffee, but this place called the Wake Zone Espresso has this AMAZING frozen "chocolate creme". Ohmyword it is so good.
He said to take my computer and to blog because I haven't gotten to lately. He wanted me to relax and forget about other things and to enjoy blogging.
:) :) :)
So here I am. Relaxing, drinking my chocolate creme, and blogging. I seriously cried when I read his notes. He knows exactly how to encourage me in the best ways and I am SO THANKFUL for that. I hope I can uplift him as much as he does me.
Just sitting here typing reminds me how much I love blogging and that it is a stress reliever for me. I need to do this more often.
Also there is a guy here who obviously has a thing for the girl working here. He has walked up to the counter to talk to her three times and then finally asked her name and shook her hand. This has been entertaining. She didn't seem interested. Sorry, dude.
I've missed y'all by the way. Hope you're having a fabulous Tuesday...I sure am. :)
