project 365: a year of pictures.

you've probably heard of Project 365. a picture is taken every single day for a year, and documented somehow. i had heard of it, but just recently saw that one of my friends, Amanda Ivey, started it and it is pretty awesome. so it inspired me to start doing it myself but in a more bloggy sort of way. i am in no way a great photographer and i am not an artsy person, so the pictures will not be creative & cool like Amanda's, but they will just have to do with special or even regular things in my life. & will really just serve as an addition to the blog.

i thought that this is a pretty good year to do it, seeing as i will be becoming Mrs. Shelley, and moving, and Lord willing getting a job, and all that good stuff. also, my wonderful parents got me a great camera for Christmas, so i am going to put it to use! this doesn't mean i will be posting every single day, there will definitely be a week in March when i won't be doing that ;), but i will post the pictures from every day. so here goes.

Day 1. 1/7/11.

my smores apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. i love their apples, they are deeeelicious. this one was covered in caramel, graham cracker crumbs, marshmallows, and chocolate. my mother, Blake, and i took a trip to Southpoint to do some wedding shoes/random things shopping, and our apples ended up being our main purchases of the day. so so good. thanks, Mom!

day 2. 1/8/11.
Day 2. 1/8/11.

Jordan + our furniture, in the back of the old Ford truck. this was interesting. while moving our amazing almost-new furniture from his grandpa's house (that i am soooo thankful for!), it was a treacherous situation in the truck bed. the cushions looks as though they may shimmy out of their spots. so Jordan decided he would just lounge in between the couch and the chairs, holding and securing the cushions as we drove down the highway from Asheboro to Greensboro. it was freezing. bless his heart. i love him.

  1. Bless his heart.. he had to have been frozen! It is a neat concept to do the picture of the day. I have never done that because of time, but I choose to do a lot in one day and enjoy them on my blog daily. I look forward to enjoying yours through the year! :)
